Easter Sunday 2007

Hi everbody I had a really good Easter. First Mommie and Daddy got me all dressed up and we went to Uncle Bill's and Auntie Laura's for an easter egg hunt. I saw my cousins Turner and Thomas J. there. My Grandma G. and Poppa Ken came up from Forsyth and watched us all have fun. They love to see us kids. everbody smiles a lot when we are around. Turner and Thomas J. have a play room downstairs and that is full of really neat toys. My favorite this day was a kitchen that was just my size. I pulled all the pots and pans out and acted like I knew what I was doing. It was FUN! We had an Easter egg hunt in the house that the older kids seemed to like. I really didn't get the concept this year (I'm only 1) but next year it's. . .WATCH OUT KIDS. Next we went to Ozark to visit Grandma Nana and Grandpa Poppy. Auntie Holly and cousin Stevie were there too. I got to run around the living room and play with the Easter toys. I got my 1st hot wheels car and i carried it for a long time and couldn't put it down. The I had bottle and a slight melt down. Daddy held me until I fell asleep then they put me to bed. I slept right through the Easter egg hunt, but once again I don't feel I missed that much. . . .I mean whats the big deal about hard boiled eggs? I don't even eat eggs. Then my Daddy got a call from a man that found our dog that had ran away on Friday night. He HAD OUR DOG! We were so happy and couldn't wait to go pick him up. we were affraid he was lost forever but Nana kept telling us someone would call and they did. Daddy had put signs up in the nighborhood and a the gas station close to our house. One of the guy's that worked there rememebered him from that night and said one of the regulars took him home cause he was cold. What a nice man. He fed him a roast and gave him a phonebook to destroy. That wouldn't have been our 1st choice of toys but they didn't know any better. We are just glad to have him back. . .He gave me a BIG LICK on the face and I laughed. I like to laugh. Until next time. Love all of you and hope to meet you someday. Harrison Patrick.

A visit from Grandpa and My 1st chair

Well i guess it was Saturday afternoon when Grandma Nana and Grandpa Poppy came to the house for a visit. It was so good to see Poppy because I hadn't seen him in so long I didn't know who he was at first. Then he gave me my first sitting chair! It's country blue with a cane seat and my name is on the back of the chair where my head goes! I was kinda scared of it at first but I'm used to it now. Nothin bothers me for to long. Mommy and Daddy say I'm a laid back little guy and no trouble at all. Except when I don't get my way. hahah. Anyway it was good to see Grandma and Grandpa. I like it when people come to visit and when they bring presents it's even better! I guess I will go for now. Thanks for stoping by. Love Harrison PS. I'm walking now! Auntie Holly bought me a Tshirt that says "STUNT MAN" "I do all my own stunts" It's perfect because I've gotten really good at falling down.

Visit from My Grandma Nana

Thursday was a fun day. My Grandma Nana came by our house and stayed with me while my Daddy ran some errands. Nana brought me a new toy called Ball Buster or something like that, anyway you have to put batteries in it and the fill it with all different color balls that are to big for me swallow. The balls go through a hole in the top tray and they go round and round until they fill the bottom. You can see them all the way down. Then you turn it on and a loud motor starts and air starts blowing and the balls start popping out the top and you keep putting the balls back in and they roll down and blow out again. It is fun! But I think the noise is getting to my Daddy. Then Grandma Nana and I layed down on the couch and we took a nice long nap. She has a good lap for a nap. When Daddy got home I was sooooo glad to see him. I love to see my Mommy too. When she comes through the door I get a big grin and get excited. Sometimes I think they almost cry. Anyway I had a good visit with Grandma Nana. I hope she will bring Grandpa next time. Love you everybody Harrison Patrick

News from Harry

This week was the time for my synagis shot. They really hurt but I'm a tough guy, I only cry a little while. I get to take these shots every month during flu and cold season. They are VERY expensive but I get them free because I was a premie. I only weighed 2.4 pounds when I was born. Each dose of Synagis helps protect me from RSV for about 30 days—so a new shot is needed each month during the RSV season.

"RSV" stands for "Respiratory syncytial virus" and usually causes mild cold-like symptoms in adults and children. But it can make premature babies and children like me very sick.

Each year, 125,000 infants in the United States are hospitalized with severe RSV infections, the leading cause of infant hospitalization. So you can see it is very important that I get these shots cause I don't wanna get sick. I think I heard me Daddy tel grandma they cost $4000.00 each and I get one a month for several months.

Thank you God for making synagis shots available for kids like me.

OK , I gotta take a bottle now and a little power nap.

Thanks for stopping by

Harrison

My Birthday was the 31st

I had my 1st birthday on Sunday December 31, 2006. It was awesome! I got clothes, toys, books, and cake and ice cream. I had fun playing in the cake and nobody freaked out when I did. I have a bunch of pictures I hope to get on my blog as soon as I can. I can't wait until next year! Harry
PS. I also got to sit on Santa's Lap and I wasn't even scared at all!
