Visit from My Grandma Nana

Thursday was a fun day. My Grandma Nana came by our house and stayed with me while my Daddy ran some errands. Nana brought me a new toy called Ball Buster or something like that, anyway you have to put batteries in it and the fill it with all different color balls that are to big for me swallow. The balls go through a hole in the top tray and they go round and round until they fill the bottom. You can see them all the way down. Then you turn it on and a loud motor starts and air starts blowing and the balls start popping out the top and you keep putting the balls back in and they roll down and blow out again. It is fun! But I think the noise is getting to my Daddy. Then Grandma Nana and I layed down on the couch and we took a nice long nap. She has a good lap for a nap. When Daddy got home I was sooooo glad to see him. I love to see my Mommy too. When she comes through the door I get a big grin and get excited. Sometimes I think they almost cry. Anyway I had a good visit with Grandma Nana. I hope she will bring Grandpa next time. Love you everybody Harrison Patrick

News from Harry

This week was the time for my synagis shot. They really hurt but I'm a tough guy, I only cry a little while. I get to take these shots every month during flu and cold season. They are VERY expensive but I get them free because I was a premie. I only weighed 2.4 pounds when I was born. Each dose of Synagis helps protect me from RSV for about 30 days—so a new shot is needed each month during the RSV season.

"RSV" stands for "Respiratory syncytial virus" and usually causes mild cold-like symptoms in adults and children. But it can make premature babies and children like me very sick.

Each year, 125,000 infants in the United States are hospitalized with severe RSV infections, the leading cause of infant hospitalization. So you can see it is very important that I get these shots cause I don't wanna get sick. I think I heard me Daddy tel grandma they cost $4000.00 each and I get one a month for several months.

Thank you God for making synagis shots available for kids like me.

OK , I gotta take a bottle now and a little power nap.

Thanks for stopping by

Harrison
